Contacts list
There are 2 ways to manage Contacts in QuickP, you can manage it into QuickP that's what we will see now or associate an external contact file (DATA or CONTACTS Application). This choice is defined into the project record when you edit it you just have to click on the "Contact Prefs" button to select it as well.

Add a new contact in clicking on the "Multiple Papers" icon.

You can notice that the Project Ref isn't managed as in the other lists.
In this cas you can associate a contact to more than one project. You just have to enter the list of the project refs seperated by a ";".
This is very useful to retrieve a contact who have worked on a project, just select the project item in the project list and click on the first "All" button to apply the fliter "Project" on the contact list. You will now retrieve this contact.
You can also enter other Telephone numbers in selecting the "Other Tel" button.
But it's not often enough, users like to add some other fields to their contact. These field can be very different for a user or each another.
So that's why QuickP allows to manage several fields (18 supplemental fields) which can be customized by the user.
Click on "Others" button.

By default, all these other fields are called "User".

You can customize them in activating the main menu and choose the Prefs menu

Now you just have click "OK" because QuickP manage customization only on Contact table.


Select Now the field you want to customize, here for example "USER1" and click on "Set" button

Change it to Address for example and type enter key

Click on "Save" to store it in the QuickP database.
Now you've got a new field called "Address", let see this in editing the current entry and click on "Others" button
